Wisconsin Senator Is Working to Improve State’s CBD Oil Law

Senator Chris Larson wants to make a change to the recently passed bill legalizing CBD oil possession. The bill as it was passed did not include provisions making it legal to obtain the oil in the state of Wisconsin. That’s about to change.

Those approved to take CBD oil would have to go out of state, purchase the oil and essentially smuggle it back into Wisconsin, according to WIZM 1410 Radio. Larson says that legalizing possession of CBD oil does no good if it can’t be obtained within state lines. He says it doesn’t do anybody any good.

Larson said, “The only way that they could do it is, if they’re lucky enough to purchase a round-trip ticket to another state, where CBD oil is available for distribution and for use.”

Larson is calling for production and distribution inside Wisconsin state lines. He wants this fix especially for children suffering from seizures.

He said, “I can’t imagine. As a father of two, the worst, where they experience debilitating seizures that could come at any moment. And, to know that there’s a cure available to help that, but you can’t get it.”
