Wisconsin-Based Vance Brand Rakes in Millions Selling CBD Joints

Marijuana Coronavirus

In a 12-hour shift, employees at Vance Global Inc. can roll and package thousands of CBD joints. The Milwaukee-based company markets the joints as “guilt-free smokes.”

The company says that it has sold about 4 million CBD joints in the past year, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The company reported $3 million in revenue last year. This year, Vance Global hopes to have its products in 14,000 stores in 46 states.

Co-founder August Battles said, “We were going to do it as an after-work thing to make money on the side. It ended up blowing up.” The young founders, fueled by Red Bull and McDonald’s, think they’ve started the next Juul, the company synonymous with electronic cigarettes.”

The company receives about 12,000 pounds of hemp monthly. The hemp is grown in Wisconsin and Oregon. The seeds are removed, then it is sifted and twisted in machines. They even have a combination of hemp flower and lavender – which is rather popular.

The company will be hiring at least 5 new employees in the coming weeks to add to its 30-member staff.
