Wisconsin Assembly Votes 98-0 in Favor of CBD Oil Bill

Wisconsin Marihuana

Wednesday proved to be a day of relief for Wisconsin families with the passage of Senate Bill 10. Governor Scott Walker supports the bill, which is now headed to his desk for signing.

CBD oil will be able to be possessed by parents of children suffering from seizures, according to Fox 6 Now. The State Assembly voted 98 – 0 in favor of CBD oil legalization. This is a big step up from the previous bill in 2014 only legalizing possession for those involved in a clinical trial.

Democrats wanted to see the bill go a bit further. They wanted the bill to include the sale of CBD oil in Wisconsin. Legislation allowing such may soon be drawn up.
